Family Bulletin Board & "Mud Room"

I want to thank all of you who left such nice comments regarding my menu planner. The response to it was overwhelming..THANK YOU!!

My wonderful dad helped me make this wonderful magnetic board for our family's busiest hallway! We enter through our gargage and don't have a mud room. I created a "mud room" for all the backpacks and shoes. The bulletin board was a great addition to this place since we are here alot!

It was so fun to actually use a circular saw and do all the miter cutting for this job. Not to mention how fun using a nail gun is too! My dad just stood next to me just to make sure I didn't cut off my hands! Thanks Dad!

Now it's all hung up next to the beautiful storage bench and shelf that my dad made for me. He used the plans from Ana White and modified it a bit so that it would accomodate our 4 kids. I had a hard time finding baskets to put in the cubbies and finally found waste baskets from Pier 1 on clearance that were the perfect size! The bulletin board is hung next to it with a wonderful chore chart that I made for our kids.
Our summer schedules and I'm Bored List is also here. I love the way its all come together!
Here it is hung up in my finally finished hallway!Visit thecsiproject.com

I love that! How did you create the names and lists? Do you have a PDF you could share? I would love to share it on my tatertots blog.

Thanks so much for linking up to The CSI Project's hardware Store Challenge! We hope you will come back next week for the Martha Stewart-inspired challenge -- The MS Craft Department are our guest judges!!!

You get an A for the day! This is my favorite launch pad so far and I think most people would have a place to set up something similar. Thanks for sharing!

This is amazing! :) I know you have links for the chore chart...would you be willing to link to the I'm Bored chart? I am the least creative mama out there and can't think of anything for them to do other than "play with your toys".
