Laundry Room....Day 10

Whew...challenge is halfway done!

Are you tired of seeing my house yet?

Welcome to our Laundry Room
I don't love doing laundry, anyone that does needs to help me. I do however love my Whirpool Duet washer and dryer, if only they could fold and put away it when its all done.

( I guess that's what my kids are for...haha!) This room is difficult to photograph, it is narrow and hard to get good angles so please bear with me.

On top of the washer and dryer:

Next to the dryer is a small cabinet which holds my tablecloths, cloth napkins, napkin rings..our dinning room is just outside this room. Sorry forgot to take a picture of the inside of the cabinet.

This cute sign was made from an as-is cupboard door from IKEA and I painted it, distressed it and attached a small basket for all those goodies you find in pockets! Vinyl lettering was made from my favorite blogger Shelley from Wonderfully Wordy and House of Smiths! Ironing supplies are in the caddy next to it. I still need to hang up my ironing board.

Above the washer and dryer is a shelf that holds extra paper towels and toliet paper. Baskets hold lightbulbs and first aid kit.

On the other side of the laundry room is a row of lower cabinets and a sink.
On top of the cabinets I have sorting baskets.
Next to the baskets in the corner I put our paper shredder up and out of the way...I know it's an odd place but I didn't want it out in the open. No one sees it there.

My thread hangs above here too.

All of my sewing stuff is held in these cabinets..I redid one of the cabinets on Day 3.
Nothing spectacular just orderly.

In the drawers:

And on the wall just as you leave through the garage....pictures of people I love!

Every time I open a clostet, drawer or cupboard that is unorganized, I think I wished I lived closer so you could help me! Looks awesome.

I really wish that I get to have a very nice laundry room. Mine is very chaotic with all the clothes my kids throw in there.
