I don't have a linen closet, never have. I never really had the need to have one. I thought I'd show you around and let you see how I store my linens. I like to store the linens and towels that I need in the rooms that they belong to. I store an extra sheet set in each room. As I wash one set the other can be place directly on the bed. Then the freshly laundered one can be put in its storage place.
Towels are place under bathroom sink counters.
Guest towels have a special basket that I store under the same cabinet my kids know they can not use them. I put a fragance sachet to keep them smelling fresh. excuse the terrible picture
Boys sheets: one in a drawer and the other on a shelf in the closet.
Girl's sheets store nicely in a IKEA stackable storage box inside their closet.
Master bedroom sheets are stored in our closet shelf ready to go. Extra blankets, one set of sheets and on top pillows are stored for company.
