It's A Girl!

On Tuesday morning I woke up around 3 a.m having contractions. They were about 3 to 4 mins apart and strong enough to wake me up. I woke up my husband to tell him to start timing them. I was unsure if this was really it as we had been to the hospital a few days before with the same type of contractions with no progress. I decided to take a shower to see if they would go away. The contractions continued and I was having to breathe through them by this point. At 4 a.m. I told my husband to call his mom to be with the kids so that we could go to the hospital. By this point I was in a lot of pain and ready to leave. We woke up my oldest son so that we could make our way to the hospital before my mother in law arrived. It's a good thing we did too. By the time we arrived to the hospital it was about 5 a.m. They admitted me and I just remember thinking that if I am only dialated to a 4 or 5 I am going to be really mad. I was in extreme pain and my plan was to go natural but at this point I was really starting to think otherwise. I wanted to get into the tub they had in my room at this point but the midwife insisted on checking my progress. I got on the hospital bed and low and behold the midwife said I was dialated to 9 1/2 to 10 and if I wanted to start pushing to go ahead! WHAT!! I couldn't believe it.

At 5:58 a.m. our little baby girl CAMRYN MARIE was born.

Weighing 7 lbs. 10 oz. 19 3/4 inches long.

She is healthy and beautiful.

We are truly blessed.
